The story of Raffaella Gelli and her family-run business in the embroidery industry represents a tangible example of how entrepreneurship can be driven by determination and resilience. Right from the outset, Raffaella invested all her resources and passion in the art of embroidery, actively involving her family in the business venture.

From humble beginnings in a small workshop, to a 5000 m² factory: over the course of this journey Massimo, Drea and Barbara have worked side by side, united in their determination to face the changes affecting the sector, and displaying a cutting-edge vision in their ability to anticipate trends.

THE COMPANY’S KNOW-HOW IS BASED ON A BODY OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PASSED DOWN THROUGH 30 YEARS OF BUSINESS, DEDICATED TO EXPERIMENTATION WITH INCREASINGLY SOPHISTICATED TECHNIQUES ON FINE MATERIALS.

ABC Ricami has its headquarters in Pistoia, the cradle of Italian embroidery. Thanks to automated processes and sophisticated machinery, the company has embraced innovation and reinvention without losing its original character. Indeed, it still preserves many elements of the age-old art of hand embroidery that have made this corner of Italy one of the world’s most renowned textile districts.
